Jim Walker

Jim joined as an apprentice in 1980 & has since fulfilled the roles of Skilled Sheet Metal Worker, Foreman, Works Manager & Contracts Manager before being promoted to Director in 2007. Jim was a member of the management buyout team in 2009 & now takes full responsibility for managing all aspects of our contracts from the secured stage through to completion.

Julie Norcliffe

Julie was recruited in 1990 as a personal assistant to the owner. Since then she has gained full working experience within the business in areas such as Sales & Marketing, Purchasing, Sage Accounting & Estimating. Julie is a co-owner of the company & now specialises in the Sales, Business Development & Estimating fields plus overseeing the other areas of the administration function.

Colin Ratcliffe

Colin came to VSM as a Semi Skilled Sheet Metal Worker in 1989. After completing his skill qualification he advanced to the position of Foreman & then Works Manager. Colin is also a member of the buyout team & takes full control of Production from receipt of manufacturing drawings through to organising the deliveries to site.

Peter Grogan

Peter began working for the company in 1975 & has always been involved in the fitting & installation side of the business. He is our leading Site Supervisor liaising closely with Jim, the mechanical contractors & assumes full control of the fitting teams. Peter is assigned to a number of ongoing projects at any one period in time & has 39 years of industry experience to draw upon.

John Fell

Until deciding to retire early in 2011, John ran his own successful installation business for many years. Indeed, often undertaking projects for VSM. Having now decided that retirement is not for him, John has joined us as a Site Supervisor in a similar role to Peter. He has been in the trade for 40 years & comes to us with a wealth of experience & technical expertise.

Phillip Coles

Phillip is another long standing employee & has given over 34 years service to the company. He joined as accountant in 1977 & has continued to successfully fulfil this role ever since.
